If travelling via the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), take the Cabuyao toll gate exit and then head straight to the Pulo-Diezon Road. Continue on towards the National Road and turn left at the Cabuyao town proper. Make a right at RFM road and Willow Park Homes should be on the right.

Cabuyao is also known for its religious landmarks especially Catholic churches. The Diocesan Shrine of San Vicente Ferrer, as well as the St. Polycarp Parish is located here. St. Polycarp is the patron saint of Cabuyao. The Poor Clare Monastery of the Blessed Sacrament is another popular religious site in the city. Devotees come and offer eggs as they pray for a baby, and the donated eggs are used to feed poor people. 

Residents with school-age kids will also be pleased to know that Cabuyao is home to topnotch academic institutions. Malayan Colleges Laguna is one of the top performing schools in the region. A Mapua school, it offers courses in maritime education, business, arts and sciences, and computer and information science. Our Lady of Assumption College is a reputable private school especially for parents who want their children to have a solid spiritual foundation. Pamantasan ng Cabuyao, meanwhile, offers the following academic programs—senior high schools, arts and sciences, business administration and accountancy, engineering, computer studies, nursing, education as well as technical and vocational education. 

Other schools in Cabuyao include Colegio de Santo Niño de Cabuyao, St. Vincent College of Cabuyao, Southeast Asia Institute of Science, Arts and Technology-Cabuyao Technological Campus and CITI Global College. 

Nearby medical institutions include St. James Hospital and Ospital ng Cabuyao. Leisure, retail and commercial centers, as well as major banks, are also accessible to residents. 

Living in Cabuyao also means being able to experience firsthand its unique cultural celebrations. One of these is Cabuyao Day which is celebrated every 16th of January. This week-long celebration commemorates the day Miguel Lopez de Legazpi founded the city in 1571. A Parade of Floats features each barangay’s way of living. A street dancing contest is also held at the city proper, as well as other amateur competitions and celebrity performances. The highlight of the affair is the official beauty pageants ‘Mutya ng Cabuyao’ and ‘Lakan ng Cabuyao.’

Every third Sunday of January, residents of Cabuyao celebrate the feast of the Child Jesus or Sto. Niño, starting with a Mass at the Cabuyao Church followed by a festival wherein all Sto. Niño images are paraded along the city proper. Another highly anticipated local celebration is the Batingaw Festival—a commemoration of the ‘Kampanang Ginto’ for which Cabuyao is known for. The celebration begins with a simultaneous ringing of church bells, believed to bring good harvest for farmers. The five-day festival includes a parade, street dancing, singing contest, trade fair exhibits, beauty pageants and fireworks to cap off the celebration.
